This financial support is a crucial moment for ConnexionWorks, signaling potential growth and innovation in the region.

Last week, Saint John had an amazing holiday party at the Delta Hotel. It was a special night where people from our community came together to have fun and celebrate.

On December 13th, the very first cohort completed a 5-week program called The DREAM Program, and it was a big achievement. The program focused on IDEA and DISCOVERY (Discover, Research, Explore, Adapt, and Manage), helping students develop an entrepreneurial spirit in a supportive and collaborative environment.

We recently had a super fun time at the Civic Tech Holiday Potluck and Gathering! Our friend Karla Marticorena, the awesome Community Coordinator of Civic Tech Saint John, hosted the event. It wasn't just a regular get-together – it was a mix of hanging out, yummy food, and cool holiday games.

ConnexionWorks joyfully celebrated the first anniversary of the Saint John Newcomers Centre's office opening. This milestone not only marked a year of growth but also highlighted the incredible impact of the organization's initiatives within the community.

On December 06th, ConnexionWorks had a really special party called "Holiday Social." Organized with care and dedication, the celebration brought together a blend of flavors, fun, and recognition, making it an unforgettable event for all attendees.

November 30, marked a significant milestone for the participants of the Business Immigrant Essentials Program as they gathered to celebrate their graduation from the Fall 2023 Cohort. The morning was filled with inspiration, gratitude, and the promise of a bright future as participants, partners, and attendees alike came together to commemorate the accomplishments of these dedicated individuals.

On November 21, financial enthusiasts gathered for an immersive workshop that promised to demystify the complexities of financial management. Headlined by financial expert, Beth Middleton, "Financial Management Made Simple: From Basics to Brilliance" not only lived up to its name but went a step further by delving into the practicalities of QuickBooks, a powerful tool for financial management.

Lights, camera, networking! On Thursday, November 16th, 2023, the Imperial Theatre in Saint John, New Brunswick, hosted a spectacular Business Networking Mixer organized by the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce that brought together professionals from various industries for an evening of connection, collaboration, and celebration.

What a night to remember! The Outstanding Business Awards at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Saint John was a dazzling affair, and the ConnexionWorks team had the privilege of being a part of this celebration of business brilliance and innovation.

On November 3th, the city of Saint John came alive with the celebration of the outstanding individuals and organizations that make a significant impact in various fields. The Faces of Fusion, which recognizes excellence in entrepreneurship/business, environmental/sustainability, arts & culture, Saint John champions, and new Johners, was a night filled with inspiration and appreciation.

On Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs gathered at the TNT Business Essentials program for an insightful workshop on Canva for Branding and Posting. Facilitated by the talented Cheryl Willson, this event proved to be an invaluable opportunity for attendees to enhance their brand presence and digital marketing skills.

Last October 16, Fredericton hosted a remarkable event that brought together the city's budding entrepreneurs, seasoned founders, and venture capitalists to celebrate innovation, networking, and social impact. Organized by Profitual, the "Startup Ecosystem Social" was a night to remember, offering attendees an opportunity to connect, gain fresh insights, and make a positive impact by supporting women in the startup world.

On October 10th, our TNT Business Essentials program hosted a captivating workshop titled "Navigating Market Planning." It was a day filled with enlightening discussions, practical insights, and networking opportunities, leaving participants equipped with a deeper understanding of market planning strategies.

Today marked an exciting milestone for a group of aspiring entrepreneurs and business professionals as the Business Immigrant Essentials - Fall Cohort officially kicked off. This innovative program, designed to support and empower immigrants pursuing their dreams in the world of business, started its journey today, promising an enriching and transformative experience for all participants.

Such was the case when PRUDE (Pride of Race, Unity, and Dignity through Education) recently paid a visit to ConnexionWorks, on September 29th. This encounter provided an opportunity for newcomers to share their experiences and for both organizations to strengthen their bonds.

The Newcomers Mixer, held on Thursday, September 28th, at the Saint John Newcomers Centre's office, created an environment where individuals could connect, network, and build bridges within the business community of Saint John. This event not only promoted networking but also supported newcomers in their journey to find meaningful employment and establish themselves in the city.

On September 26th, the TNT Business Essentials at ConnexionWorks drew a diverse crowd of business enthusiasts. The highlight of the day was "Pitch Like a Pro: Elevate Your Network," presented by Genevieve Sweigard, a Membership Engagement & Marketing Executive at The Chamber of Commerce. Her exceptional session emphasized the pivotal role of networking in business success.

Participating in the Community Connections Fair on September 21 was a significant step for ConnexionWorks. We carefully prepared our exhibition stand, adorned with our company's branding and information. As the fair unfolded, we found ourselves in the midst of a diverse array of businesses, all eager to showcase their products and services to the local community.

Last September 20, the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce hosted a remarkable Business Networking Mixer at the YMCA Fieldhouse that brought together local professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
