ConnexionWorks is a hub for entrepreneurial and business excellence in the Saint John Region.  We are on a mission to empower entrepreneurs to succeed by providing an inclusive ecosystem of partners, mentors, and programs that accelerate growth through experiential learning and practical application.


In partnership with the IDEA Centre, ConnexionWorks is looking for an innovative Program Delivery Coordinator to join the team to help with the facilitation and delivery of our entrepreneurship programming.

The IDEA Centre is a co-op-style program designed to develop student-led businesses in the Anglophone South School District ASD-S in Saint John, New Brunswick.

What You Will be Doing


The entrepreneurship Program Delivery Coordinator will work as part of the ConnexionWorks team and be a strategic resource to our program participants as they navigate the entrepreneurial ecosystem and grow ideas into successful businesses. You will have the opportunity to wear many hats while filling the following responsibilities:


  • Program development, delivery, and facilitation (Approximate time allocation – 60%)

    • You will work closely with teachers and youth participants from the IDEA Centre (grades 10 – 12 entrepreneurship students) to deliver entrepreneurship programming and facilitate community mentorships for IDEA Centre participants.

    • You will be on the front lines for developing the curriculum and delivering programming to our adult participants and community partners. Some of our programs include Venture Validation Program, Paid Start-up Program, Entrepreneurship 101.


  • Mentorship and Coaching (Approximate time allocation – 20%)

    • You will work closely with the ConnexionWorks team and participants to build and coordinate community based mentorship opportunities.


  • You will be a key supporter and cheerleader of youth and adult entrepreneurs providing guidance and support through group and one-on-one coaching sessions.


  • Community Entrepreneurship Programming (Approximate time allocation – 10%)

    • You will work directly with community organizations with the goal of raising awareness of entrepreneurship through programming and workshops.


  • Event Coordination (Approximate time allocation – 10%)

    • You will work closely with the ConnexionWorks team to support various networking events such as Pitch Nights, Office Hours, Fireside Chats, Trade Markets etc.


What You Bring to The Role


The successful candidate for this position will have a dynamic background that bridges the divide between entrepreneurial experience and education.  The ideal candidate will bring:


  • Experience and passion for entrepreneurship

    • Have you built a successful business or side hustle?  Awesome!  Have you attempted to build a business and failed? That’s okay too. We are looking for someone who has lived the entrepreneurial journey and who can share their experiences with our program participants to help them accelerate their business.

  • Teaching and facilitation experience

    • The perfect candidate will have experience as a teacher in New Brunswick the public education system. You’ll receive bonus points if you taught courses related to entrepreneurship (IE: Economics, Leadership, Business Management, Marketing).

  • Familiarity with business creation frameworks

    • The perfect candidate will have experience guiding groups as a teacher or instructor. You’ll receive bonus points if you taught courses related to entrepreneurship (IE: Economics, Leadership, Business Management, Marketing).

  • Rockstar facilitation skills (virtual and in-person)

    • You have extensive experiencing delivering to groups of 3-20 participants using in-person and virtual facilitation.  It’s important that your facilitation style provides an engaging and interactive experience for our program participants.

  • A passion for community building

    • Do you love meeting new people and building relationships?  Or do you already have an awesome network of professionals in the Saint John Region?  Super!  In this role, you will work with the ConnexionWorks team to create awareness and develop a network of passionate mentors to support our program participants.


Additional Requirements


  • Successful background check and vulnerable sector check

  • Professional Conduct Training (NB Education 701) would be considered a bonus

  • Proven time management and prioritization skills

  • Have the ability to work outside of 9-5 to accommodate program delivery. (Some of our Adult programs are offered in the evenings).


Position Details

  • This is a full-time salaried position with three weeks vacation and flexible work hours.
